Welcome to The Sound Ceremony
The Sound Ceremony is a sanctuary for transformation through vibration, founded by sound therapist and ceremonial guide David Shemesh. This space offers immersive sound journeys, trainings, retreats, and ceremonial experiences designed to regulate the nervous system, support emotional clarity, and reconnect us to our deeper intelligence.
The experiences offered here are not simply meditative—they are life-changing. Whether you are here to receive, to learn, or to deepen your own path, The Sound Ceremony is an invitation to remember who you are through sound.

Your Guide
David Shemesh is a sound therapist, ceremonial guide, and co-founder of WOOM Center (est. 2016), a leading sound-based meditation and healing studio in New York City.
With a background shaped by years of immersive study, global facilitation, and personal transformation, David has devoted his life to exploring sound as a tool for healing, presence, and awakening. His work is centered on the understanding that sound is not just something we hear—it is something we feel - something that tunes the body, mind, and spirit into coherence.
Through carefully curated sound journeys using antique Himalayan singing bowls, gongs, monochords, overtone flutes, and tuning forks, David creates immersive environments that invite deep rest, expanded awareness, and emotional release. Each tone is selected with intention. Each frequency is guided by David’s years of practice, allowing him to create harmoniously balanced soundscapes that foster nervous system regulation, trauma integration, and spiritual connection.
His retreats, facilitator trainings, and private sessions draw on a multi-dimensional approach—integrating sacred geometry, Nada Yoga, shamanic principles, and modern research in psychoacoustics and neuroscience. David’s teaching style is both experiential and structured, empowering others to access the transformative power of sound with clarity, depth, and authenticity.
At the heart of David’s work is the belief that sound is a bridge: between the seen and unseen, the individual and the collective, the physical and the spiritual. His role is to hold that bridge with integrity, guiding others not just to listen, but to remember who they are through vibration.
